"We don't do God" keeping faith in your community project

2 Jun 2010 - 9:45am - 3:30pm

This interactive and fun day will help you reconnect your work to your deepest convictions and begin to integrate a down-to-earth theology into your frontline work

Faith to Engage West Midlands in collaboration with Livability invites you to join them for a fun and interactive day considering how to keep faith in community projects.

The Crossover project was started in 1993 and is the Faith to Engage Partner for the West Midlands Region. Their particular desire is to encourage other faith inspired organisations in the region to engage with both their communities and with the Public, Private and wider Third Sector to ensure that the voices of people of faith and the projects which are inspired by faith are heard and seen and have the opportunity to shape policy-making across the region.

To find out more about this see www.faithtoengage.net

The day will include:

Practical ideas to help you and your team think theologically about your community work and integrate faith in your day to day work
Examples of community projects that have kept faith in their project
Seeing success through God’s eyes, rather than funders’ monitoring forms
The chance to be stimulated by new ideas and learn from your peers
