Like many of us, I’m trying to find my way through the maze of opinion and speculation about the Government’s concept of a Big Society. What’s good about it? What is it supposed to do? Are we really all in this together? What could make it work?

Much will depend on how the vision is translated into policy and practice, so NEF go on to offer proposals for implementation based on social justice and broadening participation.
