Faith-based organisations and homelessness – research from York University Centre for Housing
Amongst other things this research shows that “faith based” and “secular” organisations have much in common, especially in their core values.
Dr Johnsen proposes a more useful differentiation between organisations’ stance on “user engagement and conditionality of service receipt” i.e. whether someone has to be willing to change in order to access the help on offer.
A valuable contribution to the on-going debate.
