Destitute Refugees and Migrants – What can I do?

20 Sep 2014 - 10:00am - 4:00pm
London

Open Space event to discuss the lack of housing for many migrants in London.

Thousands of migrants find themselves, through no fault of their own, in London with no support or ability to return home. Many are destitute and street homeless.

Local authorities and most homeless charities cannot help because they have no recourse to public funds. Most are not allowed to work, so they have no money.

They may have a strong asylum case which has been badly handled, leaving them in limbo. They may be migrant women fleeing from abusive spouses but unable to access a shelter.

People from Churches and other faith and community groups are already responding with help or accommodation. Could you be part of the answer?

Come and join us at this Open Space event!

COST Suggested donation of £10 to help cover the cost of lunch and refreshments. All are welcome. If you are unable to afford £10 please come anyway!
