Community Matters Conference 2014

The theme of the 2014 conference is 'Building a successful future - Making the most of your building, your people and your connections'

The three workshop sessions are planned to be:

  • Your Building (upkeep, hiring, commercial trading, events, funerals, weddings, commercial lets),
  • Your People (engaging with and managing  volunteers, using the membership, developing the board)
  • Your Connections (with the local authority, with local businesses, with local NHS, but most especially with your local community)

You can also book an appointment with the Community Matters Advice team or visit the stands for a demonstration session or simply take the opportunity to catch up with old friends and make some new. The conference opens at 10:00 am for registration and refreshments and is due to finish at 4:00pm followed by a reception.
