4 Apr 2011 (All day)

This event aims to help small and medium size voluntary and community groups make better use of research. Workshops will be held by TSRC, SRA, NCVO, NCRM, ARVAC and Ipsos MORI. Participants will have a choice of sessions, which will help them build research skills, improve data gathering, find and commission research and use research in practice.

The Third Sector Research Centre is bringing together a number of high profile partners to offer practical research workshops for voluntary and community organisations.

Sessions will be led by TSRC, the Social Research Association (SRA), National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) Realities Node, Ipsos MORI and the Association for Research in the Voluntary and Community Sector (ARVAC).

They aim to help voluntary and community groups use, commission or carry out research.

Each 2 hour workshop will cost £25, and participants may attend either one or two workshops during the day.

Refreshments will be provided, and if you book 2 sessions lunch will also be provided.
