FREE Regional sessions: 'Recruiting safely' National Training Programme: Basildon
Action for Children are working with the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) to deliver face-to-face training sessions across the country.
All organisations in England that work with or provide services for children and families have a duty to protect their welfare. If you recruit paid staff or volunteers into the children, young people and families workforce then you should take the 'Recruiting Safely' training.
Action for Children are working with the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) to deliver face-to-face training sessions across the country. A limited number of free places are available in 2011 for small voluntary sector organisations who meet the qualifying criteria of less than 10 staff and a turnover of less than £1.625m.
In addition to the general schedule of training events at which all sectors within the children's workforce are welcome, Action for Children are providing a number of larger regional events which will be exclusively for the smaller voluntary sector and free of charge.
*When requesting a free of charge place, you must indicate that you are a voluntary organisation and able to meet the criteria in the corresponding box on the booking form
