National Conference 2013

18th March 2013

Facing the Challenges,
Looking for Opportunities

Innovation, Networking, Policy, Practice, Research, Skills

This is a period that some colleagues have described as a ‘great unsettlement’ for voluntary, community and faith organisations. It is a time when many people are living under great pressure and when the organisations that serve them in their communities and neighbourhoods are facing multiple challenges. In order to meet these challenges we will need to support each other and learn from each other, to develop resilient and sustainable programmes, and to access new ideas, creativity and resources.

The FbRN national conference is the only opportunity for practitioners – activists, volunteers and professionals – to meet with similar people from across the country as well as policy-makers and academics who wish to support and engage with faith-based social action.

Keynote talks, interactive workshops, panel discussions, learn practical skills, connect with colleagues and share experiences.

All prices for community organisations have been held at 2009 levels plus a limited number of free places and travel bursaries are available on application.
