Faith, Art and Volunteering: An Inter-faith National Event - Derby
This is an interactive event, highlighting the support of volunteers and their connections with faith-based volunteering from a variety of groups/organisations from across England.
The Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Derby, Kedleston Road Campus, Derby, DE22 1GB is holding a national event for Inter-faith week on Tuesday 23rd November 2010 from 3pm
Join in for a celebration of faith-based volunteering and the arts, with exhibits by groups from across England.
This is an interactive event, highlighting the support of volunteers and their connections with faith-based volunteering from a variety of groups/organisations from across England.
The event is a fun day of performance and worshops featuring:
- Inter-faith performances: fashion show, drummers and dancers
- Art and design workshops
- Objects of devotion by the staff of Derby Museum and Art Gallery
And the final of the ARTS COMPETITION - WHAT IS FAITH? (Still time to enter; send your artwork, £100 first prize for best submission)
Judging and awards will be presented by the Deputy Mayor of Derby.
